by migrating to the next Ps release from where I am now. I didn't want to add more issues re: Curves appln issues, freezes, etc. In that thread a lot of other Ps users reported the same issues I am experiencing.
I reported my tests comprehensively in another post thread I found ( P: Depth Blur results in black areas - Adobe Support Community - 12515966 ) after seeing this one. to turn off GPU during use of Neural Filters. I've already tried all the Adobe-suggested troubleshooting & install of graphics ext. It's something in the Ps code - at minimum for Win PCs. All my Neural Filters worked as they were supposed to prior to those 3 updates from Adobe. The neural filters I mentioned here "broke" (at least the aspects of them I noted) after the 1st subsequent Ps 2022 update beyond the annual update and the 2 CC updates that followed that.
